Generosity, Yoga for Emotional Healing Series, Yoga with Melissa 392
This intermediate hatha yoga class is about generosity. We are going to connect with our innate generosity through sun salutations today. The sun showers our earth with a warm and radiant glow with warmth and hospitality. The sun shines on everybody and warms us all equally. The more we connect with our inherent generosity the more we see we really do have all we need and that we are secure in the primordial nature of our being.
We will begin our hatha yoga class by opening our heart center with supported fish pose. We will then open our hips in preparation for sun salutations with half happy baby pose. From there we will do some mini sun saluations on our knees without any weight bearing on your wrists. When we come to standing we will do full sun salutations. We will finish with a reclined twist and corpse pose.
Yoga Postures/Asanas: Supported Fish Pose or Salambha Matsyasana, Half Happy Baby Pose or Ardha Ananda Balasana, Mini Sun Salutations, Downward Facing Dog of Adho Mukha Svanasana, Sun Salutations or Surya Namaskar, Reclined Twist or jathara parivartanasana, Savasna or Corpse Pose, chaturmukha mudra
